PSHE & RSHE
PSHE stands for Personal, Social and Health Education. RSHE stands for Relationships, Sex & Health Education. As we are an infant school we do not cover sex education, which is normally introduced in later years.
At Greenleys First School we use resources and content from Jigsaw. Every child in the school has a dedicated PSHE/RHE lesson each week. Each class has the same theme (e.g. Healthy Me) but works at different level depending on their year group.
We start each half-termly unit through shared whole school assembly time and revisit the theme each week through our Monday Jigsaw/PSHE assemblies when we celebrate the progress that pupils are making in PSHE/RHE.
