The School Day & Wrap Around Care

Our school officially opens at 08:45am (morning registration) and closes at 3.15pm. As such we are open for 32.5 hours per week. Please see the breakdown of a typical day below. 

7:45am – 8.45am Breakfast Club

Pupils should enter the school grounds via the main gate and then enter the school via the front office. Please note that the school reserves the right to change the start time if demand for places is insufficient. This will be reviewed half-termly.

8:40am – 8:45am

The pedestrian and side gates are open and pupils can enter their classrooms. Scooters and bicycles can be dropped off in the shelter by the front office.

8.45am

Last pupil entry time and all gates are locked. Any pupils arriving after 8.45am are marked as late and must be signed in via the front office. Learning starts promptly at 8.45am.

10.20am - 10.35am Morning Break 

11.30am - 12.30pm Lunchtime 

3.10pm Reception pupils finish school

3.15pm Year 1 and Year 2 pupils finish school

All pupils are collected from the external classroom doors onto the play areas.

3.15pm - 4.00pm Extra -curricular clubs (e.g. ballet, football, gymnastics) - organised by the school. The school will send parents information about clubs each half-term. 

3.15-6.10 pm After-school Wrap Around Care (WAC) provided by Tree Tops childcare will commence from September 2024. Click on the links below to find out more.
